Find 3 differences / Znajdz 3 roznice

Right. Now normally I am all about affordable, doable and accessible design. What I am showing below does not fall into any of these categories, but since seeing this post at Apartment Theory I am still choking with laughter and amazement.

OK, so first – find the difference between this…

Still can’t get it? πŸ™‚

Well, how about from the inside?

How does it work??

A pair of buffers keeps the outside and inside environments separate. The first, a 42-inch-high railing of ultraclear glass, acts as a safety barrier. The second, an β€œair curtain wall system” that shoots air from the ceiling at high velocity, creates a thermal barrier and bug screen.

As always, I’d love to see what you think about this design πŸ™‚

Fakt. Zwykle przedstawiam tu przystepne cenowo, ‘rozsadne’ i wykonalne projekty.

Why? Because of its very natural approach to eclectic spaces. It’s no nonsense, relaxed, with a splash of colour here and funky design there, and somehow it all comes together. Even though every item has its own history and comes from somewhere else, it’s all so.. simple. Feels young and refreshing!

Absolutely stunning, this place is the perfect compromise between budget IKEA buys and a bit of splashing out on accessories or a few designer classics. There is no reason whatsoever why any one of us (well almost anyone – see below) could not have a place like this with some ingenuity and patience; the classics can be bought on auctions (or perhaps you can get a knock-off for a fraction of original’s price?), IKEA is – well, IKEA, no need to explain πŸ™‚ The rest is thrift shops.

Importantly, though, there is a feeling of controlled nonchalance about this place – and it is achieved by rigorous approach to putting things to their place as soon as you’ve used them, and generally uncluttering it. Yes, it might look random, but it is in fact a well calculated space with place for everything. Too easy to make such place feel untidy – so only for the disciplined!

See the rest of the place here.

Obejrzyj cale wnetrze tutaj.

Ish and Chis super-sweet studio
Ish and Chi's super-sweet studio

How pretty is that! Viv has completely remodeled her studio by converting an unused space in her house into this gorgeous haven of creativity! I live the DIY aspect of it which not only saved the budget, but also immensely personalized the space. Check out the gorgeous butterfly mobile, Eames style chair, painted wardrobe and this antique sideboard on the right! Not to mention the pretty designs over the desk (Viv’s own, and you can buy them in her Etsy shop here).

Co za piekne studio! Viv przemienila niewykorzystane miejsce w jej domu w przepiekne, kobiece studio w ktorym tworzy swoje male dziela. No i oczywiscie obrazki nad biurkiem, ktore sa dzielem Viv i ktore mozna kupic tu.
