The Beginning – part 1

Everything comes from something (well, perhaps apart from God but that is not the topic to discuss here!). So where did my passion start?

I think the inspiration first came from architecture. In my travels I came across various styles and designs and have spent countless hours gloating over buildings. Depending on place, I would be fascinated by their structure, location, style, period, or color (or all of them combined).

Living in London for the last two years has been an achitecture lover’s paradise, with its ecclectic city centre and classic suburbs… but I will come back to London later on. First – let me share with you the inspiration with color.

Those photos have been taken in Rovinj, an absolutely beatiful town in the Istria pennisula, north of Croatia.

  1. soooo glad to be the very first visitor (your blog has just lost HER virginity… to me 😉 )
I will be a regular here, you got it, girl 😉
    keep it up!

    1. …and I am delighted it is you 🙂

Was thinking about it for ages so let’s see how it goes. Any marketing tips on getting the blog into public domain? 🙂

  2. This is crazy…I also can go on for hours just getting lost in the middle of nowhere just staring in awe of all the amazing architecture. In NY, I’m starved for it; in Italy I was oversaturated and emotionally affected on so many levels; in London, it always seems to be just the right balance…

    :0)

  3. Well, London is great, but there is nothing like travel and getting inspired by new locations… but hey, NY is great as well 🙂 the galleries, the 30s everywhere…
